WET the World and The Red Cross of Mexico have joined forces in a powerful partnership to provide clean and safe drinking water to communities affected by hurricanes. This collaboration addresses the critical need for access to potable water in the aftermath of natural disasters, when infrastructure is often damaged and water sources are contaminated.

By combining WET the World's cutting-edge water purification technology with The Red Cross of Mexico's extensive disaster response expertise, this initiative ensures that vulnerable populations receive essential support during their most challenging times. Together, these organizations are committed to enhancing disaster relief efforts, safeguarding public health, and helping communities recover and rebuild with dignity and resilience after hurricanes.

Oscar Rivera Rodríguez

President of the Rotary Club of Mexico City, AC. Present.

Please accept a cordial and affectionate greeting from those of us who are part of the Red Cross Movement in Mexico.

As a result of an analysis of community needs, it has been identified that in natural disasters in different vulnerable populations of the country, there is a lack of clean water equipment. The lack of access to drinking water in rural communities affects countless families. For this reason, we want to express our interest in collaborating with the Rotary Club of Mexico City to implement a project that addresses a priority need in these communities; likewise, we will support migrant populations in different states of the country where the Mexican Red Cross also provides pre-hospital care.

This situation requires urgent measures to guarantee the health, safety, and well-being of those affected, which is why we are asking you to donate 3,000 bags to purify water using the solar light filter system.

To address this issue, we are requesting the support of the Rotary Club of Mexico City within the framework of a Global Grant through the donation of the necessary resources to carry out the proposed solution. Our humanitarian aid distribution center, located at km 3.5 of Mexico City, will store the materials.

We are convinced that, through collaboration with Rotary, we will be able to generate a positive and sustainable impact that will transform the quality of life for beneficiaries.

We appreciate your support in advance and are available to provide any additional information needed for the evaluation and approval of the project.
