WET the World and The Red Cross of Mexico have joined forces in a powerful partnership to provide clean and safe drinking water to communities affected by hurricanes. This collaboration addresses the critical need for access to potable water in the aftermath of natural disasters, when infrastructure is often damaged, and water sources are contaminated.
By combining WET the World's cutting-edge water purification technology with The Red Cross of Mexico's extensive disaster response expertise, this initiative ensures that vulnerable populations receive essential support during their most challenging times. Together, these organizations are committed to enhancing disaster relief efforts, safeguarding public health, and helping communities recover and rebuild with dignity and resilience after hurricanes.

We aspire to be a globally recognized leader in WASH, delivering access to effective clean water solutions and impactful sanitation education programs to governments, partners, schools, and emergency responders worldwide that improve the life and livelihood of every individual.
3.5 million deaths related to inadequate water supply, sanitation & hygiene
Sufficient water supply of appropriate quality is a key ingredient in the health and well-being of humans and ecosystems. Children, girls in particular, can attend school rather than spending time fetching water from non-secure sources. Safe water improves health and education and therefore the development of the community.
Children in water-scarce areas often miss school due to illnesses caused by contaminated water or because they must help their families fetch water.
